The Chase is on

There’s 10 races left in the NASCAR season.
And 16 drivers eligible to claim the championship.
The NASCAR Chase for the Cup playoffs open Sunday at Chicagoland, with coverage on NBC Sports network at 2:30 p.m.
Rookies Chase Elliott and Austin Dillon are among the 16 vying for the title, while Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski earned their way into the Chase with four victories already this season.
The Xfinity Series goes Saturday at 3 p.m. on NBC, while the Truck Series hits the track on FoxSports1 Friday at 8:30 p.m.
The second week of NFL play opens Thursday on CBS when the Bills host the Jets at 8:25 p.m.
The Redskins battle the Cowboys on Fox Sunday at 1 p.m., while CBS offers Ravens-Browns at 1 p.m. and Colts against the Broncos at 4:25 p.m.
The Vikings host the Packers in their new stadium Sunday on NBC, while the Eagles visit the Bears Monday on ESPN.
The Orioles host the Rays in a four-game set starting Thursday at 7 p.m. on MASN. Games are on MASN2 Friday and Sunday, with Saturday’s contest on MASN.
The Nationals visit the Braves on MASN Friday and Sunday, with Saturday’s game on Fox. The Red Sox and Yankees battle Saturday on Fox and Sunday on ESPN, with Tigers-Indians on FoxSports1 Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 1:10 on TBS.
The college football weekend begins Thursday with Houston’s visit to Cincinnati on ESPN at 7:30 p.m.
Baylor battles Rice on ESPN Friday at 8 p.m. and it’s Arizona State against Texas-San Antonio on ESPN2 at 9:30 p.m.
Saturday starts on ABC with a top 10 contest between Florida State and Louisville at noon. Oregon heads to Nebraska at 3:30 p.m. and in primetime it’s Stanford-USC.
Top-ranked Alabama meets Mississippi on CBS at 3:30 p.m. while Fox has Ohio State taking on Oklahoma at 7:30 p.m.
Notre Dame tangles with Michigan State on NBC at 7:30 p.m.
Appalachian State hosts Miami on ESPN at noon and Pittsburgh travels to Oklahoma State at 3:30 p.m. It’s Auburn-Texas A&M at 7 p.m. and Texas takes on California at 10:30 p.m.
ESPN2 has Iowa-North Dakota State at noon. In primetime, LSU hosts Mississippi State at 7 p.m. before BYU plays UCLA at 10:15 p.m.
TCU takes on Iowa State at noon on FoxSports1.
Georgia Tech clashes with Vanderbilt on the ACC network at 12:30 p.m.
Comcast has three contests Saturday, starting with South Carolina State against Clemson at noon. James Madison visits North Carolina at 3:30 p.m. before Navy takes on Tulane at 7 p.m.
Kansas State hosts Florida Atlantic on MASN2 at 2:30 p.m., with Texas Tech taking on Louisiana Tech at 7 p.m.
The World Cup of Hockey starts Saturday at 3:30 p.m. as the United States battles Europe on ESPN2.It’s North America-Finland Sunday at 8 p.m. on ESPN2 after Russia meets Sweden at 3 p.m. on ESPN.
Manchester United starts its Europa League run against Feyenoord Thursday at 1 p.m. on FoxSports1.
In Bundesliga Soccer, FoxSports1 shows FC Koln against SC Freiburg Friday at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at 9 a.m., it’s FC Bayern Munich facing FC Ingolstadt 04.
The United States women take on Thailand in an International friendly Thursday at 7:55 p.m. on ESPN2 and the Netherlands Sunday at 7:30 p.m. on FoxSports1.
FoxSports1 has the championship match of the U.S. Mid-Amateur Thursday at 3 p.m.
Dallas plays Indiana in WNBA on ESPN2 Sunday at 4 p.m.
