Junior’s last laps at Daytona

NBC starts its time covering NASCAR – just in time for Dale Earnhardt Jr’s farewell tour.
Junior takes his final trips about the Daytona oval Saturday, starting when the flag drops on NBC at 7:30 p.m.
Earnhardt has posted four victories at Daytona, including the July race months after his father died in a final lap crash at the Daytona 500.
He won the July race in 2015 before sitting out the second half of last season.
The Xfinity Series goes Friday at 7:30 p.m. on NBC Sports network.
There’s practice for both series on NBC Sports network Thursday with qualifying Friday at 2 p.m.
The Tour de France gets underway Saturday at 9 a.m. on NBC Sports network, with stage two Sunday at 8 a.m.
The Orioles close out their road trip in Toronto Thursday at 7 p.m. on MASN2, then the Rays visit for the weekend on MASN.
The Nationals face the Cubs Thursday at 4 p.m. on MASN before heading to St. Louis. Friday’s contest at 8 p.m. will be on MASN2, with Saturday’s game on Fox and Sunday night on ESPN.
Fox also offers the Yankees against the Astros and Indians-Tigers. The Marlins meet the Brewers Saturday at 4 p.m. on FoxSports1.
It’s Twins against the Red Sox Thursday at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
The PGA tour visits the Washington area this weekend, with coverage on CBS Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m.
Fox has the final two rounds of the U.S. Senior Open Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. The first two rounds are on FoxSports1 Thursday and Friday at 2 p.m.
The Confederation Cup closes this weekend, with Mexico meeting Germany Thursday at noon from Sochi on FoxSports1. The consolation and championship matches will be Sunday on FoxSports1.
The United States faces Ghana in an international friendly Saturday at 5 p.m. on ESPN.
Real Salt Lake visits Orlando Friday at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN, then Sporting Kansas City battles Portland Saturday at 7 p.m. Philadelphia faces New England on FoxSports1 Sunday at 5 p.m.
There’s a pair of CFL games Friday on ESPN2, with British Columbia taking on Toronto at 7 p.m. before Montreal meets Edmonton at 10 p.m.

Seeking the final series

To reach the College World Series, you have to win two series.
You need two more to claim the crown.
The winners of the two brackets meet Monday in a best-of-three series for the championship.
Oregon State and Florida have advanced to Friday’s bracket championship games, with Oregon State playing LSU at 3 p.m. on ESPN while Florida awaits the winner of Thursday’s 8 p.m. contest between Louisville and TCU on ESPN2.
Bracket finals will be played Saturday, if necessary, with the two winners moving onto the championship series.
The Orioles close a series with the Indians Thursday at 7 p.m. on MASN, then visit Tampa Bay for the weekend. Coverage is on MASN2 Friday, moving to MASN for Saturday and Sunday.
The Nationals take on the Reds on MASN Friday at 7 p.m., with games Saturday and Sunday on MASN2.

Father’s Day weekend brings a slew of different sports for dads to enjoy.
Golf brings one of its majors – the U.S. Open – on Fox. Action begins both Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m.
The first round begins Thursday at 11 a.m. on FoxSports1, continuing on Fox at 6 p.m. FoxSports1 has the second round at 11 a.m. before Fox gets going at 6 p.m.
NASCAR’s Monster Series will be in Michigan, starting at 3 p.m. on FoxSports1 Sunday. The Xfinity Series takes place Saturday at 1:30 p.m. on FoxSports1, with the Truck Series going Saturday at 8:30 p.m.
The Orioles close out their series with the White Sox Thursday at 2 p.m. on MASN before hosting St. Louis for the weekend on MASN2.

Claiming the clay courts

NBC has part of the Grand Slam and the end of the Triple Crown this weekend.
The clay of Roland Garros hosts the finals of the French Open. The women’s final will be Saturday at 9 a.m., with the men’s championship on Sunday at 9 a.m.
The ladies semifinals will be Thursday at 11 a.m. on NBC Sports network with the men’s semifinals Friday at 11 a.m.
With no Triple Crown on the line this year, Belmont hosts the final race on NBC Saturday at 5 p.m. NBC Sports network has races earlier in the day starting at 3 p.m.
The Cavaliers host the Warriors Thursday at 9 p.m. in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on ABC.
NBC has Game 5 of the Stanley Cup final Thursday at 8 p.m., with Game 6 in Nashville Sunday at 8 p.m.
The Orioles and Nationals have a makeup contest Thursday at 7 p.m. on MASN and MASN2 while ESPN shows Yankees-Red Sox at 7 p.m.
The Orioles visit New York for the weekend, with games on MASN Friday and Sunday and Saturday on Fox. Other areas will see Red Sox-Tigers or the Indians taking on the White Sox.
The Nationals host the Rangers for the weekend on MASN2 Friday, MASN Saturday afternoon and MASN2 Sunday.

LeBron James and the Cavaliers won the final three games of the 2016 Finals to claim Cleveland’s first major sports title since 1964. The Warriors added Kevin Durant to their potent lineup, and finished with the best record in the league again.
The Stanley Cup Final moves to Nashville for Game 3 Saturday at 8 p.m. on NBC Sports network.
