Getting ready for October

The baseball regular season ends Sunday with all 15 games starting at 3 p.m.
Will any postseason berths still be open?
Several division races were decided weeks ago, and the home fields for the divisional round have been clinched since mid-week.
The National League east champion Nationals have a four-game set with the Pirates to finish the regular season, with games on MASN.
The Orioles conclude their campaign with three games in Tampa Bay on MASN2.
Fox has a possible playoff preview between the Astros and Red Sox Saturday at 1 p.m., along with Blue Jays-Yankees. FoxSports1 shows the Brewers against the Cardinals at 4 p.m.
TBS will have coverage of the Mariners meeting the Angels, Dodgers-Rockies and the Tigers taking on the Twins Sunday.
CBS brings the Bears and Packers Thursday night at 8:25 p.m.
The Dolphins and Saints travel to London, with coverage on Fox at 9:30 a.m. The Cowboys host the Rams on Fox at 1 p.m., while CBS brings Ravens-Steelers and the Raiders against the Broncos at 4:25 p.m.
The Colts tangle with Seahawks on NBC Sunday night, then the Redskins take on the Chiefs Monday on ESPN.
The college football weekend starts Thursday at 8 p.m. on ESPN when Texas travels to Iowa State.
Duke duels with Miami Friday at 7 p.m. on ESPN, followed by Southern Cal-Washington State. Illinois clashes with Nebraska on FoxSports1 at 8 p.m. while Dartmouth meets Penn on NBC Sports network at 7 p.m.
Wisconsin hosts Northwestern Saturday at noon on ABC, then Florida State faces Wake Forest at 3:30 p.m. Second-ranked Clemson takes on Virginia Tech at 8 p.m.
Tennessee takes on Georgia at 3:30 p.m. on CBS.
Fox offers Michigan State-Iowa at 4 p.m. and Oklahoma State takes on Texas Tech at 8 p.m.
Notre Dame hosts Miami of Ohio on NBC Sports network at 5 p.m.
ESPN starts its day at noon with Florida-Vanderbilt. Auburn meets Mississippi State at 6 p.m. before top-ranked Alabama faces Mississippi.
It’s off to the ACC on ESPN2 at noon with North Carolina visiting Georgia Tech before Baylor battles Kansas State.  Central Florida goes against Memphis at 7 p.m. and the day closes at 10:30 p.m. with Colorado-UCLA.
Maryland meets Minnesota at noon on FoxSports1, then California clashes with Oregon at 10:30 p.m.
Syracuse battles North Carolina State on the ACC network at 12:20 p.m.
Holy Cross tangles with Lafayette at 1 p.m. on MASN.
ESPN2 has Texas high school football between Denton and Ryan Thursday at 8 p.m.
NBC carries the President’s Cup, with coverage Saturday starting at 8 a.m. and Sunday at noon.
NASCAR visits Dover for the weekend, with the Monster Series Sunday at 2 p.m. Sunday on NBC Sports network. The Xfinity Series goes Saturday at 3 p.m. on NBC Sports network, while FoxSports1 has the Truck Series in Las Vegas at 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
NBC Sports network shows the Grand Prix of Malaysia Sunday at 2:30 a.m., after qualifying Saturday at 5 a.m. and practice Friday at 3 a.m.
The WNBA continues its Finals Friday at 9 p.m. as the Lynx face the Sparks on ESPN2. Game 4, if necessary, will be Sunday at 8:30 p.m.
The Capitals continue their preseason in Carolina Friday at 7:30 p.m. on Comcast.
FoxSports1 brings Everton against Apollon in the Europa League Thursday at 3 p.m.
Huddersfield Town takes on Tottenham Hotspur Saturday at 7:25 a.m. on NBC Sports network, and it’s Chelsea-Manchester City at 12:30 p.m. Arsenal meets Brighton & Hove Albion Sunday at 6:55 a.m., followed by Everton-Burnley and Newcastle United against Liverpool.
Schalke battles Leverkusen in the Bundesliga Saturday at 7 a.m. on FoxSports1, followed by Augsburg-Dortmund. Sunday, it’s Hertha Berlin facing Bayern Munich at 9:30 a.m.
In the MLS, Philadelphia faces Seattle Sunday at 1 p.m. on ESPN.
MASN2 has women’s volleyball between TCU and Kansas Saturday at 1 p.m.
