Early Cleveland vs. current Cleveland

Many moves ago, the Rams franchise called Cleveland home.
The Rams, now back in Los Angeles, will return to the lake to face the Browns on NBC Sunday for the NFL primetime contest.
The Rams brought the first NFL championship to Cleveland in 1945, then moved to Los Angeles as the new Browns debuted in the AAFC in 1946. Those Browns won several NFL crowns – the last in 1964 – and the current Browns hope to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2002.
NFL network has the Titans’ visit to Jacksonville Thursday at 8:20 p.m. and the Bears and Redskins close the third week of play on ESPN Monday at 8:15 p.m.
The Ravens tangle with the Chiefs on CBS Sunday at 1 p.m. followed by the Steelers facing the 49ers. Fox will show the Dolphins against the Cowboys at 1 p.m.
The college football weekend begins Thursday at 8 p.m. with Houston-Tulane on ESPN.
Utah visits Southern Cal on FoxSports1 Friday at 9 p.m. and ESPN2 has Boise State-Air Force at 9 p.m.
Notre Dame visits between the hedges under the lights Saturday, taking on Georgia at 8 p.m. on CBS. Texas A&M hosts Auburn at 3:30 p.m.
It’s Northwestern-Michigan State on ABC at noon. The 3:30 slot features Pittsburgh against Central Florida and Washington taking on BYU, with the game not seen over the air in your area on ESPN2. Texas tangles with Oklahoma State at 7:30 p.m.
Michigan meets Wisconsin to start Fox’s day at noon.
Tennessee takes on Florida on ESPN at noon before Louisville visits Florida State at 3:30 p.m. Stanford faces Oregon at 7 p.m. and the nightcap features UCLA against Washington State at 10:30 p.m.
Second-ranked Alabama tangles with Southern Mississippi on ESPN2 at noon. Virginia hosts Old Dominion at 7 p.m. followed by Toledo-Colorado State.
Iowa State meets Louisiana-Monroe at noon on FoxSports1, followed by TCU taking on SMU.
The ACC network slate begins with Syracuse against Western Michigan at noon. Central Michigan meets Miami at 4 p.m. and Charlotte clashes with Clemson at 7:30 p.m.
It’s Elon-Wake Forest on NBC Sports Washington at noon.
The Orioles play Toronto Thursday on MASN and close their home schedule against Seattle for the weekend on MASN.
The Nationals continue their quest for a wild-card berth against the Marlins on MASN2 this weekend.
Fox has baseball Thursday night, with Tigers-Indians and Cardinals against the Cubs at 7 p.m.
The NL West champion Dodgers host the Rockies on ESPN Friday at 10 p.m. after Indians-Phillies at 7 p.m. The Indians meet the Phillies on FoxSports1 Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 6:30 on ESPN. TBS has the Cardinals and Cubs Sunday at 2:15 p.m.
NASCAR visits Richmond with the Monster Series race on NBC Sports network Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The Xfinity Series takes the track Friday at 7:30 p.m.
ESPN2 has the Singapore Grand Prix Sunday at 8:05 a.m.
The Indy Car season concludes with the Grand Prix of Monterey on NBC Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
It’s Southampton against Bournemouth Friday at 2:55 p.m. on NBC Sports network.  Leicester City takes on Tottenham Hotspur Friday at 7:25 a.m. followed by Manchester City-Watford.
West Ham United faces Manchester United Sunday at 8:55 a.m. and Chelsea clashes with Liverpool at 11:25 a.m.
Portland meets Minnesota United on ESPN Sunday at 3:55 p.m
In the Bundesliga, FoxSports1 has Bayern Munich’s battle with Koln Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Eintracht duels with Dortmund Sunday at noon.
NBC Sports Washington has a pair of ACC soccer contests Friday, with Pittsburgh-Boston College at 5 p.m. followed by Virginia Tech against Louisville at 7 p.m.
The Capitals get ready for the season by facing Carolina Saturday at 7 p.m. on NBC Sports Washington.
The WNBA playoffs continue Thursday with Game 2 of the semifinals on ESPN2. The Sparks take on Connecticut at 6:30 p.m. before the Mystics meet Las Vegas. The contests move west Sunday at 5 and 7 p.m. on ESPN2.
Japan takes on Russia in the Rugby World Cup Friday at 6:30 a.m. on NBC Sports network. Australia tangles with Fiji Saturday at 12:30 a.m. and England takes on Tonga Sunday at 6 a.m.
